Producing his father's new album, Leo came from NYC and brought bassist Billy Peterson from Minneapolis to play with Louka Patenaude (guitar) and Ben Sidran (Wurlitzer 200a). They were laying down some grooves reminicent of the 70's era groove jazz of Herbie Hancock's Headhunters, and tracking to 15ips tape. The sound was funky, raw, and deep. The grooves were smooth, sophistacated and true. Whitcomb engineered.
