Lyle Rogers and Chuck Clark and their backing band, Sausage Creek, may indeed be the new heroes of country music. They've been invented by a shadowy League of Extraordinary Local Country Musicians (who, aside from the Cork 'n' Bottle String Band's Greg Dierks, are keeping their identities secret) for a very entertaining project that skates a thin line between homage and parody.
