Boombala is the Infantry Rockers’ third commercial release since they formed in 1999 and clearly shows the band’s evolution and expansion from a dub collective to a hard-hitting multidimensional powerhouse of musical styles. Ragga, cumbia, reggae and other musical formats are mixed with echoes from the members’ home continents to create a sound unique to the group.
