Debut Studio LP Mastered by Mark Whitcomb. Make It Right is Eli Jones' first studio LP. Recorded over a period of nine months with local engineer and friend Caleb Willitz, the project reflected the attitude of the band. It was an ego-less and joyful collaboration open to suggestions and input from all band members. Countless evenings were spent together in Willitz’s west side studio laughing and ribbing each other, searching for an interesting guitar part, and fist-pumping after Stefanie nailed a high note. Acclaimed producer/engineer Steve Shirk (hearya.com live sessions, The Record Low) mixed the record and Madison engineer Mark Whitcomb (DNA Studios) did the mastering. "Keeping the soulful funk alive...a heavy funk monster a la Mother's Finest..." -Here Comes the Flood Blog "The eclectic disc features 10 songs that range from tender existential balladry (“Afraid Not To Die”) to pop/jazz/samba fusion (“Bring Your Love To Me”) and much more." -The Northern Star (NIU) "...An original sound borrowing from the greats with hints of pop and blues, keeping it punchy and funky with very few moments of down-time." - Theft Liable To Prosecution "Energetic, fun music...Boogie music for the body and soul." -Washington Island Observer
