The second album from Brian Daly's arty indie rock trio. Second Self represents an evolution in sound from See The River Rise. While sticking with the tried and true classic rock sound pallet, there are more sonic embellishments. Guitar overdubs and keyboards making for a fuller sounding record. The mood ranges from haunting and austere to the driving, cathartic pulse for which SFTB is known.
